Do Bendix pads resurface rotors?

I bought some OEM Bendix pads today and the guy at the counter said they have lines on the top of the pad that resurface the rotor so they don't need to be turned, is this true? It kinda sounds far fetched to me buy you never know.

Are those the MKD-154's? That's what I use! Anyway, the Bendix pads are coming with a coating that is supposed to help the pad-break-in process. Of course, they still recommend a long & gentle break in, so who knows if that stuff is worth anything.

I think they call it a titanium coating? Whatever it is, it's meant to ease pad break-in. If ya look, the part of the pads that touch the rotor will look more silverish/grayish as opposed to a semi-metallic pad that's been used.
