Motor Mount Question

a freind of mine told me about the differneces between the motor mounts on a convertable mustang and a hard top mustang.the converts motor mounts have an extra piece of metal running throught the mount making them stronger.
my question is did GM do the same thing for the F-Bodys?

The Mustang convertible mounts use an interlocking bracket style between the upper and lower pieces. There is no difference the Camaro mounts.
