1/4 mile performance and 0-60' traction
I've never dragged before... did the following: Hotckiss LCA's, Panhard bar, and strut tower. Welded in Global West's sfc's.
Then... all the standard stuff... perf chip, k&n, lingenfelter 52mm T.B., SLP siamesed intake runners, Accel ignition, Gale Banks performance muffler....
Posted the following on third try:
13.92 @ 99mph
1.92 0-60' on Firestone street tires, GTX I believe...
Is this good, should I be happy, what else can I do while keeping engine stock internally, which is my goal?

Nice 60' for street tires. I take it you have a L98 car. With drag radials and stock 125,000 suspension I pulled a best of 1.98 60'. Thats with a 305. Most of the 350 guys have 60' of 2.1 and higher unable to put the power to the track sounds like you got it though. Get a pair of ET streets and try again
13's all the time.
13's all the time. Thanks.... I think you're right... my buddy said I should b thrilled with that 60' time,
but I want to hook even more... I'm going to get a pair of Nitto 555 when I burn these Firestone's out, but I'm thinking about going with rear rims of 17 by 9 inch, and mounting a wider tire, I'm just worried about fit, rubbing, etc... any thoughts out there?
