Rear End Calipers
Rear End Calipers
Ok so I have a 9 bolt with pre 89 calipers (the ones that have the screw out parking brake) anyways providing I don't sell my car I will be trying to put the updated calipers on it and I was wondering if they would just bolt on to the old backing plate? Or do I need to find a backing plate made for the newer calipers? Any ideas? Thanks

What do you mean by "updated" calipers? Do you mean the 89+ aluminum PBR calipers? If so, then you'll need to change the backing plates. They'll have to come from a wrecker too, 9 bolt backing plates for PBR calipers are no longer available from GM.
