305 to a 350

my dad and me have picked up a 88 GTA trans am that had originally had a 305 with the t-tops but we are looking at putting a 350 in but are worried about the t-tops buckling would this be a an issue if we decided to put the 350 right in?? or would we have to reinforce the t-tops. HELP PLEASE !!! If you know anything about this any response is greatly appreciated. thanks for your help

Re: 305 to a 350

I have an 85 Trans Am with T-tops, winter 09 it had a 305, and now it has a 350 in it. For added strength I added subframe connectors. Nevertheless the car rips around the streets with no problems at all. I think you will be fine.
