315/35/17 on a 17x10 rim info please!!!!!

I've already searched all the previous posts with no real straight answer for this (at least not with all the details). I already have the tires and I still need to get the rims if I understand correctly 315's will fit on a 17x10 rim on the back of our cars correct? (Oh yeah I will be putting 275's up front on a 17x9.5 but i already have that figured out) Now here is the important part what backspaceing EXACTLY do I need? What else needs to be done to the wheel wells and I'm not clear as to if anything else needs to be done other than banging out the wheel wells? Do I need to do anything with the LCA's? Does anyone have all the info on doign this or know someone I could e-mail about this? Thanx a lot

17x9.5s should have 5.5" backspacing. 315s usualy go on 17x11s. You might want to check out 295s

You'll need 6" of backspacing on a 17x11" rim to fit.
This is a concrete #.
I've had mine on for 2 years or so.
You will get some rubbing on the top, tip wheel well lip on hard dips since the tire does not fit in the wheel well itself.
Other than hammering the inside wheel well they WILL fit and you'll love it.
