brake problems, help!!!!!!!

well i have since changed the rear brakes to the newer 89'+ setup. i have replaced the master cylinder, the front calipers, ALL brake hoses(even the center one on the rear), e-brake cables, and prop valve. i sometimes get great rear brake bias but then again sometimes the fronts are doing all the work and lock up. here's the question i put a new 1LE prop valve i had and am wondering since i put that prop valve(i have 1 piston calipers up front), may that be causing my problems? please help anyone....

Your proportioning valve should be fine. The problem with factory brakes is that they have the parking brake built in them. This causes different design features that prohibit performance. Get used to setting your parking brake everytime you park. This is what keeps your rear brakes adjusted up. Pump your parking brake lever about 20 or so times and see if your rear brake bias doesn't improve.
