Car shimmys under braking

My car shimmys wildly from side to side when braking. I just replaced the center link and tire rods Could I be looking at ball joints? I looked underneath the ball joint and they look fine. also how do I check to see if both brake calipers are grabing at the same time?

thanx for all the help.
