stock rotor sizes

Guys, I'm posting again cuz I completely at a loss here. cy z28 please forgive me wanting a second opinion...

The facts are that my front rotors are smaller than the rear ones on my 89 l98 iroc.

1st. am I correct in thinking this is wrong. no opinions please, I want a yes or no.

2nd. this had to be done on purpose right, I mean the shield/caliper mounting piece behind the rotor has to match the rotor so that the caliper contact in the right spot, correct?

I have no trouble stopping normally, but it requires more effort than what i imagine is normal for a third gen.

someone please help...I'm at a loss...

cy z28...I apologize...u da man!

In 89, option j65 upgraded rear discs to 11.65 inches and added pbr calipers...while the front remained 10.5 inches

I think I still need to overhaul the system though!
