Master cylinder question
just curious how u can tell if your master cylinder is on its way out? any pressure test that can be run, what symtoms would be showing?

Engine: 2.8 V6
Transmission: 700R4
Check for a leak out of the back.. that would indicate a torn rear seal, probably due to a big scratch in the bore.
A m/c that's leaking internally will "lose pressure", and the pedal will sink. Come to a stop, and keep your foot on the pedal. If the m/c's leaking internally, the pedal will start to sink downward.
Also look for leakage around the grommets that are between the reservoir and m/c body.
