Rear Lower Shock Bushing Part#

Anyone happen to know of a direct replacement lower shock bushing for a Third Gen? Preferable something I can get at Auto Zone or pep boys? I know they stock Energy Suspension products. I wouldnt mind ordering it online if I had to. I was trying to find a part number online and I came up with nothing. I was hoping someone here had went through this already and can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Are you talking about the bushing that sits under and over the shock tower? If so I used Energy suspension. Autozone usually stocks a box of the endlink size bushings and washers, they work great.

i think he means the bushing on the axle side of the shock. I dont believe there is a part number for it, since its part of the shock. If its failed, the shock is probably shot as well. new shocks are pretty cheap really.

Re: Rear Lower Shock Bushing Part#

I dont have a bushing failure. I have a 84 Supra with a Independent Rear. And a common mod people do with these Supras and Cressidas is run third gen rear shocks when they run a shorter spring to avoid excessive bouncing.

Since they dont make KYB AGX for my car, I had to order some for another car. And the lower bushing is different. A vendor in the Supra community is currently out of stock on these bushings and Im a little impatient at the moment.

Re: Rear Lower Shock Bushing Part#

is it just a smaller/larger bore in the bushing? you can use it but just using a different bolt for the mount and some washers if that helps, maybe even just for tempory purposes. just make sure its a grade 8 bolt (10.9 is metric)
