hi, i just looked at UMI and they have a torque arm that replaces the stock one on 3rd gens,,,but what i like is that the the torque arm bolts to the transmission crossmember that they provide that replaces the stock crossmember...it actually elimintes stress on the tail end of a T5 or 700r4,,anyone out there have this on their cars?

AFAIK, the stock torque arm can but used with the relocation kits. The kit holds the factory clambshell, so i dont see what the factory arm wont continue to work.

Like //<86TA>\\ says, You can use a factory stamped steel arm with the relocation bracket, but you need to use a 1 piece poly bushing with it.

I have the UMI torque arm with the relocation kit on my car. I didn't keep the stock torque arm.

I got the adjustable one. I didn't come across any problems installing it. I do seem to notice a little more vibration from the car but nothing major.
