suspension help please. where to buy lcarb's?

i have so far purchased adj torque arm, adj panhard bar, sub frame connectors....now im about to purchase some sportline lowering springs. and from reading around, it appears that i need lower control arm relocating brackets...but i cannot find where to buy them, and i have no idea what they look like. i know where they would go, just dont know where to buy, and what they look like. so any help would be much appreciated. and any suggestions with this setup is welcomed. its a street car

Here's a VERY BAD pic of them on my car.

They can be had from Spohn, UMI, BMR, maybe Global West, and maybe others.

They MUST be welded to have any kind of long-term success, although you could get the bolt-in ones, and drive to a muffler shop or something to get tehm welded. They should be adjusted so that the rear of the LCA itself is slightly lower than the "frame" end of it; maybe ½ - ¾".

thanks for the picture. it makes some sense now lol. i wasnt sure if the bracket welded to the frame or axle, but now i see its on the axle. so are there no companies selling them on ebay? i type camaro lcarb but didnt have much success. so do i have to buy them straight from the manufacturers website?

You can find BMR and UMI lcab's on ebay. They run anywhere from $58+shipping for bare metal to something like $89+shipping for the powdercoated version. You can also get the bolt in style if you are not able to weld.

UMI

BMR

sweet, i think im gonna go with those. they are considerably cheaper, if we are talking about the powdercoated ones vs powdercoated ones. actually these are still cheaper than the raw ones. although i would kinda prefer the raw ones so i can weld them right up, then paint or undercoat over. idk how well it will weld through powdercoat....i heard that stuff is hard to scrape off

ones i linked to are bolt in, so you dont even "have" to weld them

powdercoat will come right off with a grinder.

I have the Founders control arms, very high quality parts with great powdercoat.
