Braking front end clunk
So my car has a front end clunk noise that it does no other time but when Im braking. Not going over bumps or turning, just when I brake softly as I am about to come to a stop. If I hard brake It will not make any noise. I got a suggestion that It may be the K member bolts loose, could that be what it is? I am stumped because I would think that if anything was loose it would make noises going over bumps and stuff. The person that told me this knows his stuff, he is like a F body guru. I would just like other suggestions to try too. Thanks!

No body has any ideas? The clunk and squeak is only when I brake. When I go over bumps and stuff its fine. Thanks!

if its only when you brake, something with the brakes is making the noise, possibly a loose or worn caliper pin, or pad. You can check the k-member bolts easy enough, but i doubt thats it.

Hey man I would look at the strut mounts and make sure the rubber looks good. The same thing was happening to mine and that was my fix but mine looked really bad. Just an idea. Or check yoir ball joints too
