Upper Track bar

Upper Track bar
I'm new to 3rd gen cars. While removing the panhard bar and upper bar- the one thar attaches to the body, should the upper bar be basically flat across its lenght?? Mine is definately not, so I'm assuming its bent. I have no clue as to how th PO bent this 
I found an exploded diagram, guess its not supposed to be straight!!!!!!!!

Theirs a bend in it for exhaust clearance

yeah. its supposed to look like a bent up POS, its the way its made.
