400 in a 3rd gen..

400 in a 3rd gen..

Have a question, might be very newbish! but if you dont ask you dont know
Can you remove the complete front end K member and engine all as one, after disconnecting all the bits like rad hoses, exhaust, gearbox prop, wiring etc reasonably easy?.
May make the job of raising up the engine about half an inch easier as the center link is slightly rubbing on the oil pan.

How did you get that problem? Is the 400 a Pontiac engine? Is the center link bent? Do the motor mounts need new rubber parts?

You can do that no problem. But what is the 400 part? a 400 pontiac? a 400 chevy? the centerlink is on backwards hitting the oil pan or something?
