Manual Steering box question.
I ordered this about three days ago. http://www.jegs.com/i/Procomp+Motors...C2251/10002/-1
I need a manual steering box but can't seem to find out which one will work in my Camaro.
It's a '85 Z28,I'm building a serious street/strip car so I don't need the power steering and I am getting antique plates so it's not going to be a daily driver. Can anyone help?

Re: Manual Steering box question.
AlkyIROC has all the info you would need.
Certain yrs S-10 manual box with 4 bolts on the cover, NOT 3 bolts.
Use you pitman arm.
I can't recall the thread title, but a quick search will give you quite a few threads covering every detail. IIRC, a few ppl used the S-10 pitman arm.
See if this helps-- In you search box go to Advanced search
put in-- manual steering
manual steering swap
or manual steering box
In the User Name-- put in AlkyIROC
This **should** give you everything AlkyIROC has done to his & how he went about it. My search skills are near nonexistant!!LOL
Or in your search box just put in the same words listed above but don't enter a username. Again, there **should** be quite a few threads with tons of info!!
Good luck
