Clunking sound when in reverse
I posted in the drive train section but I thought maybe the clunking sound I am getting in my 88 IROC Z convertible with auto trans. It only happens when I am reverse and it is not real loud. Initially thought it might be my u-joints but then thought maybe it is somewhere in my suspension? Anyone here have any past experiences with a clunking sound when in reverse when backing up?

Thanks for the reply...I had already checked the trans mount which I replaced a few years back but good call on checking the torque arm bushing. I know the U-joints are a cheap and quick change out so I should just shut up and replace them but I will check the torque arm bushings...Thanks!
