I'm reassembling the 84. Abandoned the body/metalwork for the time being. Took the inspiration from a guy I know who restores 2nd gen cars mechanically, but leaves the bodies and interiors for later. So, my chassis and driveline will be done. I can enjoy the car, and do the body and interior later.

But.....mainly thanks to a certain someone requiring half my income every month I had a very slow assembly and progress after a reasonably quick disassembly. Everything was documented, but for some reason I can't find my steering column pinch bolt, or the three bolts that screw in the firewall for that matter. One of the speed nuts for the three bolts on the firewall that was welded on broke, I'll use a bolt and nut there. But I can't recall what these bolts looked like or what sizes they were.

If anyone can post pics or the sizes of the pinch bolt or the three bolts on the firewall I'd appreciate it. I may have to either JY or go to the hardware store for these ones. I'll keep looking for them though.
