Lower IROC 1", I need your advice fellas....
I have an 89 Iroc with 17" torq thust 2 wheels from american racing. I want to evenly lower the car 1". I plan on putting new shocks, struts, and bushings along with whatever drop springs I purchase.
What brand(s) do you guys recommend for these parts? I just need some general thoughts and advice before I start buying stuff.
Thanks guys!!

Konis all around if lowered. You could try Bilsteins. Bushings I would just put in regular OE bushings.

I've been very happy with the Eibach pro-kit. Dropped about an inch and a quarter. Also keep in mind that manufacturers will tell you how much drop to expect from original ride height. Many of our cars have 25 year old factory springs that have begun to sag already, so when "lower" springs are added, the drop isn't as much as was expected. My 89 was a good condition, well maintained daily driver with just over 100k on the clock. After about 18 years, when I finally got around to lowering it, it appeared that the springs hadn't started to sag. Not that I could tell anyway. Every car will probably be a little different.
