im looking at getting this kit for my 92 z28.

i mainly dd this car with lots of spirited corner carving and autocross events. ive read before that that lower control arms with the solid ends like these are better for autocrossing thats why i want these BUT if anyone has any other info im all ears. i found out i have to drop my gas tank to fix a leak so while its apart ill do these and some lcarbs at the same time. just looking to see what others think.

Re: founders lcas and panhard bar

For a daily driven vehicle you main want to consider control arms and panhard bar that have polyurethane on one end to help absorb some the road shock. The rod end/rod end set up like above will work great for autocross but might be a little noisy on the road. I would recommend a poly/rod end or poly/roto-joint combo for a daily driver car, they would be quieter and less harsh.

I hope that helps!

noisy as in transfering alot of road noise through the body i assume. well i guess i should be more specific i usualy only drive the car twice a week and my daily driving totals to about 5miles if that lol. thanks ill look into both of those other setups too.

Yes, as in transferring more noise. A rod endede set up that uses rod ends on all ends eliminates the rubber bushings completely and there is now nothing soft to absorb the shock. So performance will be good but you might want to look at a less aggressive set up for street use. Below is a sample:

Thanks!
