Re: installed rear springs and they fell out

If they moved, they were lowering/cut springs. A stock spring should still stay seated & at "worst", be able to be fairly easily pried out with the shocks still connected. Loosen the shocks & the rear axle will drop lower & possibly get even a stock spring to come loose.

I'm sorry.. they are lowering springs. On my truck with rear lowering springs they make lowering shocks, just wasn't sure if it was the same for the camaro.

Re: installed rear springs and they fell out

I've considered getting some Limiting Straps made for my car. The shortest I can find are for 4x4s & twice as long as I need.

Re: installed rear springs and they fell out

If you ever see a MSE or Macho Trans am in the bone yard they will have limiter straps, I took the ones off the rear of mine(rear is gone now), I'll see if they are in a box somewhere in the shop.

If not I have a contact who might.
