Re: founders performance SFC

no, they are for 4th gens, the underside of the car is totally different. Which is why they say they fit 93-02 f-bodies...

They did confirm that ones for our cars should be out very soon, so if I were you, I would wait, like I am. They make quality parts at the best prices,

Re: founders performance SFC

If your looking to get sfc's for short money, try MAC Performance. I got a set for $160 shipped to my door in 5 days. I havent had them installed yet so i cant tell you how well they fit personally, but i have heard good reviews from several members on this board about them.

dont have a link, but the macs are the same basic design as the Alston connectors, you can get those from TDS. Of the two, the Alstons are the cleaner design. I have them on my 86 and they are quite nice

Tds has them for a good price i might get them in gloss red. Do u recommend the welded or the bolt on design? And they should fit my 91 coupe perfect right

Re: founders performance SFC

the issue with bolt on in the long term is that the holes can "egg" and become loose over time. however, you can (and should) get them welded in place to eliminate the issue. bolt in is a great option for those of us (myself included) who don't have access to a welder right away but want to stiffen things up in the mean time. i would have gone this route myself if i didn't find a brand new set of umi weld in sfc's locally for $50 (thanks craigslist!)
