A Solid Front End Rebuild Kit
After searching for suggestions and only seeing questions, I put together a %100 Moog (almost)front end kit that is a little more pricey than the cheap kits you see, but much less than the kits sold by our vendors. I'm going to order it soon and just wanted to post it up for searches and feedback. All the part #'s are here, so you can try to price match the Moog stuff locally to save some shipping costs.
From RockAuto.com
2 inner rod ends Moog# ES2227RL
2 outer rod ends Moog# ES2226RL
2 ball joints Moog# K6145T
1 centerlink Moog# DS1049
1 idler arm Moog# K6249
From HawksThirdGenParts.com
front control arm bushing set Energy Suspension# ENS-33157 (Poly)
UMI adjusting sleeves UMI# UMI-2103
RockAuto - $268.90 + shipping
HawksThirdGenParts $66.94 + shipping
Total = $335.84 + shipping
I didn't even order from RockAuto, I just price matched them at Napa for their own Moog stuff. Doing this will depend on whether your parts house carries Moog and if they price match. If not, RockAuto only estimated $22 shipping to me in CA.
If you want rubber control arm bushings, you can order them at RockAuto also. They are Moog# 6253. Each set does only one a-arm, so order two. I settled on the polyurethane due to them being slightly cheaper and being a steering upgrade.
Only $110 more than the cheapest complete set I've seen (the Mcquay-Norris, which doesn't look too bad except the adjuster sleeves) and all QUALITY parts that should last. I looked into Coleman sleeves, but they do not come with jam nuts, are not powder coated, and there are reports of them not being threaded far enough. For only $10 more than coleman or Moog sleeves, the UMI sleeves seem like the right choice.

funny, i did 100% the exact same setup (different sources due to different connections), but a very solid set of parts that should last a looooong time.

Great minds think alike. After seriously looking around, it almost seems like the only option when you consider price to quality ratio. I've seen kits with cheap china parts going for this much.
I can't wait to get it all on. I've had the car for years, but have just recently decided to get it going beyond stock. Short term = suspension, brakes, then paint. Long term = LS1/T56 swap.
