1984 Trans Am

I have an 84 trans am T5 basically stock with a 350. Mild cam headers and a 3in exhaust. I was wondering since the car has the ws6 suspension did it come with a wonder bar and is it worth putting in?

Re: 1984 Trans Am

No Firebird models came with a wonderbar, that was an IROC only item. One will bolt up to your car with no modifications. Your front subframe is prone to cracking in the area where the steering gearbox is mounted. This problem is compounded when you have 16"+ wheels installed. The wonderbar's purpose was to eliminate the flexing at this spot in the subframe.
