LOUD squeak from front left

Hey recently my car developed a minor squeak comming from what sounds like the front left tire. It made noise whenever you were moving and shut up from just lightly holding the brakes (not enough to start slowing the car). Now a couple of days have gone by and the noise is much louder, and only stops if your on the brakes like your going in for a stoplight

From using search bar it sounds like this should be wheel bearings or brake discs, but those posts had nothing about it stopping under braking.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me.

Brake pads

It's the "audible wear sensor"

Re: LOUD squeak from front left

Had the same problem need to apply some brake molly grease to the back of your pads. What it is doing the pads are moving around in the caliper. Try that. Cheers...
