New rear bushings??

I'm about to do a 4th gen rear end swap in my 86 Camaro and since I'll have everything off I want to go ahead and do it right and replace all the bushing. So what is a good bushing to replace it with? I dont want to use the cheep auto zone bushing that don't last

Re: New rear bushings??

If you are just replacing the bushings then Energy Suspension or Prothane are good ones to go with. They will be a little stiffer than factory rubber since they are poly. If you want to save some money, I actually have LCA and PHB bushings from a Prothane kit that I will sell you for cheap. I have fully adjustable stuff back there now and don't need them.

Re: New rear bushings??

Yes, they are for the factory panhard bar and rear lower control arms. Here is what you would need if you are replacing the factory bushings. These are also what I have.

This is from Energy Suspension, but effectively the same as Prothane, and for the panhard bar.

These are the lower control arm bushings.
