want to lose one inch (front shocks)
ide like to drop my car and inch in the front then ill set the back according to what i like. but i have front shocks instead of springs so i was wondering what ide need for shocks without spending a fortune?

Factory front suspension thirdgen? You have springs. They're hidden fairly well. Get some lowering springs or cut yours.

No need to change the shocks or struts for just a 1" drop.

Shocks (or in our case, struts) don't control ride height. The springs - which are well hidden indeed - control the ride height.
Unless of course your car has a coilover kit on it, which some do if the previous owner has installed one.
There are a number of aftermarket spring manufacturers with moderate 1 inch drops. We generally use Hotchkis.
