stock sway bars or aftermarket?

Transmission: 700 R4
Axle/Gears: 3.27 posi
stock sway bars or aftermarket?

so i have an 87 iroc with 34mm sway bar on front, and looks like 22 or 23 on the rear. would it be better to keep these or buy aftermarket from spohn or bmr or whoever?

Does the car need more or less bar? If it doesn't, no need to lighten the wallet. If you want to clean them up and give them a coat of paint, that will make them look much better.

The combo is probably 34mm front and a 24mm rear.

I agree with 86.

Aside from his suggestion of paint, you might consider a powder coat.

Save your money.

I cleaned my 36/24 combo at the coin carwash and sprayed them with some Duplicolour red engine enamel rattle can I found on sale.

I did upgrade to poly bushings and ES end links.

WOW!! I did a search like most do not and found exactly what I wanted.
My 86 has original bars. I had the same question.

Sounds like unless there is a need, remove them clean and paint them and add new bushings. Thanks for saving me hundreds!!!!
