Can you restrict how far the front can drop down?
I have shorty headers that lead to a custom 3inch ypipe. It actually fits well and doesn't cover any parts like the starter, but the only problem is, if I hit a hill or something just slightly too hard the front end slams down on the exhaust.
I noticed on the rear there are rubber pieces that the axle housing will actually bump into, effectively restricting the total possible distance the rear can "dip down".
Is there something like this on the front end that I can replace with a larger piece to stop my exhaust from scrapping? Or something else I can do?
P.S. I do know that my front shocks need replacing. I notice when I go to lean on the car to look in the engine bay for the first time after parking it that the front end drops down a bunch like the shocks get kinda stuck half way down and my weight sinks it down the rest of the way.

Replace your springs? You shouldn't be relying on bump stops, they are pretty much a last-ditch effort to prevent metal smashing into metal if you go off a drop or way too fast over a speed bump. I have a custom y-pipe that goes below the transmission crossmember, only ever scraped it once.
If your Camaro didn't come from the factory with a V8, it'll have softer springs up front and even if it did and they haven't been replaced, they'll be sagging.

There might be a way to get larger bump stops up front, but you could always go for stiffer springs. That should help the front end from dropping so much.

I would switch your front springs.

Either your current springs are weak and the struts are bad, or the exhaust is poolry designed and hangs too low.

Sounds like worn struts.

I'll go take a pic right now.
As for springs, anyone got a link or a part number for front replacement springs that wont change the ride height but will be stiff enough to help prevent dip down?
It came with a 305 when I bought it, fyi.
