wonder bar install
I just ordered the TDS wonder bar, I've been reading it's a pretty easy install. I'm just wondering if it better to have the car on ramps of the suspension unloaded to install?

Re: wonder bar install
Makes no difference..... just have it flat. Ramps are good. You have to be able to get to the mounts.
Some Wonder Bars do not fit if you have factory dual fans. I got a UMI one when I went to the dual fans. My Spohn did not fit.

I just put the front end on jack stands. Its helpful to have a small jack to lift the sway bar back up if you are on your own. Agreed, it only takes a few minutes. Super easy if you have an impact gun.

Re: wonder bar install
Same here,I just used jack stands and a small floor jack for the sway bar.
Heres a link to a UMI bar install.

Re: wonder bar install
Another advantage of the TDS Steering Brace vs any other brand. Once you've removed the 2 bolts per sway bar mount bracket and dropped the sway bar, you install the steering brace using the 3rd hole and another existing bolt on the chassis. Then you lift the sway bar back up and tighten the remaining bolts. Every other brand you'll be lifting the sway bar AND steering brace at the same time and fiddling with the two bolts per side to install.

Re: wonder bar install
Here is what I found on my car. I have not seen the TDS bar.
Where the factory piece is small in diameter, aftermarket Wonder bars use large diameter bars. Spohn bar was in the same place as my dual fans. UMI has their bar moved back on the mounts - towards the rear wheels. Takes the bar out of where the dual fans are.

Re: wonder bar install
Every 3rd gen should have a TDS wonderbar. Mine fit perfect with the big Edelbrock sway bar.

Re: wonder bar install
great fit and easy install just like TDS advertised. I've seen people say some wonderbars have clearance issues with duel fans. TDS bar had no issues with my duel fans.
