how hard is it supposed to be
it seems like my rear end bottoms out all the time, for no reason. i can push it down and it comes up with no bouncing, but should it be harder?

Those are a great choice for a street car.
Also takes about 10 seconds to put em in, if you're slow and all-thumbs like me.
You can probably get it done in 5.
