Help! my car is leaning
I have a major question and I pray someone can lead me in the right direction. I have a 91 RS. About a year ago, I came home and pulled up behind it. I quickly noticed it was leaning badly on the passenger side. I thought the tires were flat. I pulled it in the shop and it sat up until about 2 months ago. I 'leaned' toward the front coil springs had collasped. I bought new springs and struts and installed them. Same problem. I pulled the rear springs and switched them, same problem. I have ordered new shocks that are on the way. I loosen sway bar, track arm and same thing. I gently removed lower control arms, same thing. I have disconnected everything that could hold the rear end. Could the torque arm do it? Please I need help. My wife has said that if it isn't ready by mid summer. sell it.....

Pic? Was it always this way since you've owned it or did it just 'happen' one day?

It happen one day. I messured left and right side at rear wheel and the passenger side was 1/2 " lower. Sorry about pics. I got it jacked up in the air now. Could the torque arm be bent or twisted. I don't know how the po drove. I am really frustrated.

Stacking of tolerances somewhere.
You can keep pulling your hair out, or you can keep listening to family trying to tell you what to do with your thirdgen, or you can fab a shim for the spring on the low side and solve the problem the old fashioned way.

Does it go down the road straight?
These cars are not engineering marvels, and they're getting old, its entirely possible the body or subframes have been twisted by abuse and/or time.
If its not dog tracking or eating tires I'd run it, if it really bothered me, that shimming idea should be sound, they do it to big trucks from the factory.
