I am a little confused on how to raise my car up a bit. I was going to get the 1991 iroc moog springs from rock auto. but I her they lower the car.

Witch springs should i get to raise the car up a inch or so. I will be putting 16 inch tires on the car soon.

Re: raising the car.
No need to raise the car for a larger wheel diameter.

The Moog springs are the best bet; either 5662 or 5664 for the front, and 5665 or CC635 for the rear. They end up at slightly below OE height (which is probably higher than about 99% of these cars sit nowadays). See this thread for what these cars ACTUALLY LOOKED LIKE when new. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/hist...od-1986-a.html

Re: raising the car.
I am replacing the springs because the exhaust is lower now. And every pot hole speed bump or just random slope my car botoms out. Do i want variable springs or constant. I plan to replace everything with new moog parts except the rearend stuff. I may fo umi or sophon.

Re: raising the car.
Go moog 5662/5665 if you want to raise it. It will sit too tall btw, alot of people cut moog springs.

Search more from mikey, I believe he had some pictures of his car with untouched moogs. My 86 sat the same way with moogs, Went Intrax after a week.
