Center Link Help !

Hey guys, I know this may seem like a easy question but I am new to third gens and its my first car. I just replaced the tie rods, idler arm, pitman arm and installed the center link. I am stuck now as I can't seem to get the ends of the tie rods to bolt into the center link.... I know that if I could get the nut onto them I could force them into the center link (as I'm sure they are tapered) I just can't get them far enough through to get a nut on them... Any help would be great. I've attatched a few photos to show what I mean. Do I need something to force them through in the first place or am I just looking at it all wrong? Thanks in advance, Take care.

Deven.

Re: Center Link Help !

I would check the part # and match it to the one you took off I have installed them and the bolt has always come through enough to put the nut on

Part was for a 2nd gen trans am, and was not tapered properly. Problem solved! Thanks for the reply!
