kyb or bilstein
Who has what and how do u like them? In ct the roads are awful. I have plly all around and its time to do the struts/ shocks. I don't mind a firm ride but bone jarring isn't good when I'm out on a family cruise. Let's hear pros and cons.

Bilstein are light years ahead of KYB, and are lifetime warrentied, they will rebuild them.
Eithere are a great improvement over worn units.
Only con to Bilstein is the price, but you will never have to buy them again.

I have the KYB AGX front struts. Had them installed about 8 years ago, and they`re still performing perfectly. Love the adjustability too.

Re: kyb or bilstein
The price is steep. I do one major overhaul per year and this year I've noticed some instability and to me feels like the 3 year old Monroe units are just not cutting it. I've installed bilsteins on a lot of customers cars and the difference is more stability. I've never used the KGB agx but I noticed a big difference in price and I've Seen decent reviews from threads on here. I didn't like the gr2 series tho.
Ps. - I don't mind spending the money. Just I've noticed a lot of people seem to run them as your footnotes say. Lol

Kyb's or Tokiko's are both a decent factory replacement, where as Bilstein's are a high performance unit that will feature more accurate/consistant valving and reduced cavitation. Unless your going to be racing kyb would be a good choice.

Only racing I plan on is road rage. I do enjoy a good spirited cruise occasionally around some twisty corners. I also plan on the founders strut mounts. Just like how sturdy they look. Any opinions?

Bilstein also has the huge outer shaft for better side load support. Instead of just the small shaft.
Theres a pic in the for sale section.

Bilstein has good customer service. 100% behind there lifetime warranty, can also re-valve them anyway you want, all though the warranty goes away.

A Fiat or a Mercedes? hmmm..... not sure which is .... better .... ???
But if you're really going to bite off, look at the Koni yellows instead.

Re: kyb or bilstein
That's another brand I've seen often. I prefer handling over raw power if I had to make the choice.
