Rear Sway Bar bushings

I have a 91 Z28, changing out the body sway bar bushing and they are a solid piece. they do not have the split in them. The originals have the split. Any idea how to get these on the car? Shall I split them myself? Heat them up to make them plyable?

Re: Rear Sway Bar bushings

Just take a razor blade and carefully put a small split in them. Had to do that with mine and haven't had any problems.
