popping sound

hi i have a 91 camaro 5.0 tbi that im having a issue with, whenever i go over bumps well not always but 7 out of ten times it pops. it also does this when i enter or leave drive ways or i make sharp turns. im fairly new to the suspension in this car but the integra i had before it was the cv joints that would create that sound. any help or tips would be great thank you

Check your struts. Also check your ball joints. If they start getting bad they can catch and make a popping noise. In my experience bad ball joints also cause the car to wander on the road

My advice would be checking your control arm bushings and swaybar links, then strut mounts.

I had a popping noise when I was turning. Sounded like it was coming from the driver's/left side of the car. The noise was coming from the steering gearbox. Sounds to me like it's time for the rack and pinion conversion!
