Rear suspension baseline set up
Good morning everyone i have a few questions id like some opinions and direction...i am building a 1990 camaro rs...i am about to order a rear end from quick performance how much can it be shortened without suspension interference im told 1.5 inches per side? also this will be a street strip car with a 5.3 lsx engine with borg warner s400 turbo ive spared no expense on things front end is sphon tubular k member lakewood 90-10 struts drilled slotted brakes out back i have all sphon as well double adjustable lca and panhard with big del sphere pivot joints. im undecided on thier torque arm mid grade or the pro? i mean turbo cars dont hit extremely hard of line im thinking 1.4 sixty ft times.. i plan on mid to low 10.s in 1/4 with a trans brake turbo 400 from rossler.. since i discarded all stock suspension i have no clue what lengths to start out with on the lca and pan hard? i will be using stock rear coils and an air bag it seems to work well for alot of guys here also im running stock brakes up front and gonna run discs in rear can i use factory master cylinder and booster with inline residual valves and adjustable prop valve or something different? thanks for any help or insight.

Re: Rear suspension baseline set up
Put the diff under the car at 101" wheelbase since that's what third gens normally are. From there, take measurements.
