Strut mount holes
So.. How many sets of holes should be in the strut tower?
I've got two.
Did someone get a little drill happy, or is this normal?
If normal, which set is used by stock? Mine are in the rearward set.

Re: Strut mount holes
Interesting.
So why do people buy caster plates when you could just loosen the mount up and slide the whole thing?
So I know if you increase (move back) caster it helps keep the car centered. If I push it all the way forward, would their be any negative side effects? I've got fender rub I'm trying to cure.

Re: Strut mount holes
If it's rubbing on the rear of the tire, you might have too much caster, but in all honestly I think most 16" IROC wheel thirdgens have some degree of rub because the cars were designed with 15's.
As for the set of holes, caster/camber plates offer a higher degree of adjustability (camber slots ON the actual mount are longer and provide for more negative camber adjustment, and the top of the mount has another bunch of screws for adjusting caster apart from the camer/caster plate itself.)
