4th gen front springs fit 3rd gen?

Car: 1992 Z28 Targa Top. Full air ride
Engine: 305 5.0 tpi v8
Transmission: A4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 gears posi
4th gen front springs fit 3rd gen?
I'm getting conflicting info on this and can't find a diffinitive answer. I know the rears are interchangeable but will the front coil springs from a 4th gen fit our third gens? The obvious answer is no since the 4ths utilize a coil on strut set up but i see some places selling springs for 82-02? Will they work?

nope, not now not never. you are right about the rears though physically they will fit. there may be some discrepancies in spring rates though.
