I've found a guy selling parts from a 1990 formula firebird and I'm wondering if I'd be upgrading my suspension on my '86 Trans Am by getting his springs, sway bars and steering box/linkage? My car is supposed to have "performance suspension" according to my interior, but I'm not sure if they put better parts on the formula in 1990.

My linkage is popping when I make tight turns and I'm already buying a hood from this guy and was going to try to make a package deal if they were upgrades.
