Eibach Sportlines Installed now Quick question about lowering.
I just installed a pair of Eibach Sportlines in the front of my car, and left the rear alone. I love the way the car looks and handles but just want to make sure the geometry is ok.
I didn't lower the back of the car so I don't need LCARBs or an Adjustable Panhard Bar right?
I have new struts, all new steering components, poly sway bar links, a wonder bar in the front. Is there anything I need to change in the front because I lowered the car. I don't have any wheel hop, and everything feels tight and responsive but just wanted input.
Also, I will not be lowering the back, the car does not handle weird because of different spring rates ( maybe I got lucky ) and I want to keep the stance just the way it is.
Put simply, is there any money I need to throw at the front suspension just because I lowered my car 1.6" in the front? Thanks guys!

You at least need the front alignment re-adjusted. The lowering springs alter the geometry. And you may need LCARBs. Check the angle of arms and pinion angle.

How would I do that ? Is that a visual check ?

Unless you have the right equipment and know what you're doing you need to take the car to a shop that can set up the front end correctly. Any of the big tire companies should be able to do it. Usually the rear control arms should have a slight front to back down slope. Also, the pinion should be parallel to the trans output shaft. You can get various angle finders to check. Not as critical as the front but still better if it's correct.

I know it shouldn't matter but I just got an alignment after replacing all the front end parts and it goes pin straight, no problems with going one way or another. I'll check out the Lcas and I'll start shopping for an adjustable torque arm just in case.

I'm in a similar situation as you. I overhauled my front suspension and steering linkage last spring with serious parts for autoX/RR. I installed Ground Control Weight Jacks and have a fender height of 25.5". My rear suspension is the original 22year old stuff. I cut 1.7 seconds off my autoX time. The car drives fine and handles really well cause of all the goodies in the front. Yes it would handle better with the rear done also but no complaints until i can afford it. The more gas in the tank the better the stance looks.
From my experience I wouldn't say you have to change anything in the rear if its stock height. I don't believe lowering the front would have any effect on the rear suspension geometry. The torque arm and everything else in the rear should still be in the exact same place in reference to the drivetrain and frame/body. Lowering the front only "raises" the spindles/wheels/a-arm angle. Shouldn't effect anything else.

The only thing I could ever see being a problem is the strut not having enough of travel to absorb impact, however over bumps and stuff the car doesn't feel any different. LCARBs help even cars that are completely stock and I needed new LCAs anyway so I went ahead and ordered some from Founders along with the LCARBs, lets see if they will make a difference. Also my panhard bar was making a little noise so I ordered one from J&M. I sold one of my mountain bikes (another obsession of mine) so that's how this was all funded . With all this I hope to have a car that grabs harder and eliminate some wheel spin. When it all comes in and I get it all installed I'l let you guys know how it is.
The only thing I would like to do now is to buy some aftermarket strut mounts so that strut can sit higher and have more travel, that can only improve my ride.
