Hotchkis and strut issues

Hey guys, I have the Hotchkis springs on my car with Bilstein struts. After a little while I started getting a knocking noise from the front every time I hit a bump or even on slight bumps and uneven roads. Turns out it was my strut mount brackets that went bad. Got them replaced and no more knocking. After about a few thousand miles the knocking came back. Same issue. Mechanic said the strut mounts are being damaged because of the drop. Anyone have this issue or know of anything else that may be causing it. Thanks in advance.

Re: Hotchkis and strut issues

Get a set of aftermarket camber plates. They are raised higher than stock and use bearing instead of the rubber donuts. Umi performance, founders spphn and a few others make version s of this part.
