Where to place jack stands? (87 iroc-z28)
I want to start by saying sorry If this is in the wrong place.
Im new to fixing up cars and I wanted to fix the 87 iroc-z28 in my garage. all it needs is new spark plugs and wires. but I would have to get under the engine. I have zero idea as of where to place the jack stands. I know how to jack the car up thanks to my Haynes manual. but I have zero idea of where to place the jack stands in order for me to access the bottom of the engine.
it would be a real help if someone could tell me where to put the jack stands and show me pictues.

Just wondering- why do you need to get under it to remove the spark plugs and wires?
check out this thread, it has pics and stuff to help.

Some Plugs Are Easier To Get At From Under The Car,Especially The Driver's Side With The Steel Brake Lines And Emission Air Pipes In The Way.

While it may be hard to get the last two plugs out on both sides I was able to get them from up top, you just really need to cram your arm in there, you can put jack stands on the subframe and rear end on the axle tubes. when putting a stand on the back left sub frame be EXTREMELY careful that you don't have the stand touching the brake and fuel lines. I learned this the hard way.
