Need help with new power steering pump / install
Hi guys,
First off my car is a:
1992 Camaro 305 TBI
My question if someone can help me out is:
I am in the middle of putting in a new(rebuilt) p/s pump. AC Delco recommended model. Anyways, it has two red plastic plugs on the reverse side. Any ideas on what to do with them?
I compared with the old pump and they have what appear to be permanent bolts in the corresponding areas. Nothing came in the box to plug the holes and I can't see these plastic tabs being the end all??
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Yup indeed that simple. They were on there so unbelievably tight I started to think they didn't come off. Good Lord someone was messing around with the torque that day in the factory or something.
Did learn something else too. Apparently any kind of red plug or tab on a rebuilt part indicates it should be swapped over from the busted unit. Blue indicates a hook up to existing line. Or so I was told.....
