hello, im going to need a new spindle for my 84 bird.I just need to know what other firebird or trans am years will fit my car. Also, what other year firebird fender and front bumper would fit my bird. Would Aappreciate some feed back! thanks.

 

Any firebird part will interchange from 1982 to 1992. Some have slight different trim styles ect but all will interchange in one way or another. Sheet metal from a camaro will not work but mechanical parts will.

 

what about a trans am? would the fenders fit a firebird?

 

Transam fenders will work. There will be holes at the bottom of the fenders from the ground effects that will need to be filled.

 

I think they changed the spindle /knuckle slightly in 89, so you need an82-88 spindle.
Firebird fenders will swap with TA, but TA fenders have ground effects mounting holes and the extractor vent in them. You can use any year 82-92 for fenders but 82-84 have different gfx mounting holes, 91-92 have different bumper cover mounting at front, but all can be made to work pretty easily. Any original fender from 82-92 is better than an aftermarket , lots more fit issues there.
