changing bushings in stock panhard bar???

Axle/Gears: 2.73
changing bushings in stock panhard bar???

Having trouble removing the stock rubber bushings that are in my stock bar. Anybody have suggestions on how to remove it?

As flimsy as the stock bar is, I doubt it's even possible to swap the bushings without distorting it.

You can rent a bushing press tool for free from a local parts store.
Example:


Or use a vise and a couple of appropriatly sized sockets.

The truth.
Heat around the bushing with a torch and they basically push them self out with no effort.

I used a sawzall and cut it on opposite sides to the edges, then just pushed them out. I was too lazy to get to my shop press lol.
