Is this the "wonder bar"?
Hi!
After reading and aksing some about sloppy steering, cracks in frame etc. I had a look to see if I hade this wonder bar mounted. As I've understood it, some cars had it from the start. What I want to know is -is this the one?
Thanks!

Most often found on the L98 cars, not sure if anyone has found one on a LB9 as originally equipped.

Re: Is this the "wonder bar"?
The wonderbar was apparently a Bandaid for the IROC's 16" wheels and the stress/cracking of the steering box area that they could cause. My IROC, an LG4, is equipped.

Re: Is this the "wonder bar"?
You'd think a L98 GTA would have gotten it, but mine didn't have it. Very sad story.

Yup, same here. My 89’ GTA with the G92 package didn’t have one either. I added one years ago along with subframe connectors. Made a big difference.

Only IROCs were equipped with the Wonderbar.

yup, My 305tpr LB9 87 IRoc had one from teh factory. I got rid of it and went with a better one from Lon and Top Down Solutions many years ago though. not sure where I put it. might still have it tucked away in a parts storage area
