Since i have the car stripped down for new shocks and springs I thought I would replace the ball joints. Most of the videos I see people beat them out with a hammer from the top down. I rented a ball joint press from autozone and thought I could press it out. The press really only allows me to press from the bottom up. Can the joint actually come out that way or does it have to push down to come out. For the life of me I cant get it to move.

 

I am a idiot, after more forum searching and experimenting I figured out a better way to use the press thanks to this post.
